For the first time CF-ECR are organising a trip for 12 British Conservatives to meet the European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR) Group in Brussels. The successful applicants will have the opportunity to meet leading ECR MEPs, learn about the political group and its work in the European Parliament.
It's a fantastic chance to get to know the third largest political group in the European Parliament and the only one campaigning for real EU reform. UK Conservative MEPs sit with the ECR Group and CF-ECR believes that we should continue to work and connect with these like-minded colleagues after we leave the EU. That's why we are offering to bring experienced party activists to Brussels to meet our ECR allies and gain first-hand experience of how the political group works.
Visit information
The two-day visit will take place on Tuesday 10th and Wednesday 11th of April with travel and accommodation costs covered. The visiting group will meet ECR MEPs, be given a tour of the European Parliament and attend a dinner hosted by Conservative MEPs. A full itinerary will be sent to the successful applicants once confirmed.
How to apply
Due to the limited spaces available for the visit we ask that you apply with a letter, no longer than 250 words, explaining why you want to learn more about the ECR Group and briefly outlining your involvement in the UK Conservative party.
The deadline for these applications is Sunday 25th February. Please send all applications to: cameron.j.smith@europarl.europa.eu
We look forward to welcoming you to Brussels!
